Last snowman of the season?

We had a spring storm that gave us some of the best snow all year, for making snowman that is. By morning we had about 2 feet. It was beautiful as the snow was sticking to the trees and bushes. Of coarse Maggie and I HAD to go out to play and get our last taste of winter.

Who would have guessed it was perfect snowman snow. The first time all year. It reminded me of he snow we got at my parents house in Utah. I was actually proud of our snowman as he was bigger than Maggie.

I love spring storms because it isn't so bitter cold. We had to start shedding layers so that by the time the snowman was done we were without coats playing in the snow.  Maggie wanted to be a snowgirl, so we covered her up in snow (the bottom half) and made her into a snowgirl by putting buttons on her. She thought this was so funny.

It was getting warm and sunny, the snow was starting to melting. Poor "Snowy", as he was dubbed by Mag's, didn't last long. He had fallen over by the time Maggie woke up from her nap so we had to go and reconstruct him. He had a short life of almost 2 days but we were very proud of our last snowman of the season!?! Well we hope he was the last one anyway as we are ready for summer. Who knows, in Colorado it could snow anytime.
