One of my family traditions for Easter is having a big family Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter. My parents have it in their big back yard. Everyone, including adults, has plastic eggs to look for with their name on them. Some have candy and some have MONEY. Since we moved to Colorado we haven't been their for Easters and once again we didn't get there. I was feeling kind of sad as last year it just wasn't the same with only Maggie looking for eggs. So we decided to invited Maggie's little friends to come over on Saturday for lunch and a good old Easter Egg Hunt. It had been cold and we weren't sure if we were going to be able to have it outside but the sun came out and warmed up just enough, just in time.

Maggie finds an egg!
Gracie and Maggie
The kids had a blast and it was so funny how the littler kids could find an egg that the older ones couldn't see right in front of them.
The kidos showing off their eggs. Left to right-
Holly, Maggie, Katie Jo, Gracie, James, and Madie
The Girls. Poor James is so out numbered.
What fun to have 6 little kids 3 and under running around crazy on sugar. I think it is now Our tradition.
After eggs we went inside for strawberry short cake with and Easter twist.
It's suppose to look like a green hill with a rabbit hole and ears sticking out.
They were very cute and Yummy!
