There is one thing Maggie likes more than anything else....Snow. She is our little snow bunny. How perfect it was when the weather Man said we would be get our first dose of Colorado Snow the day before her birthday. You could have hear her squeals of delight in the North pool when I told her it was suppose to snow. We woke up to not only a 1 inch, but 12 inches of beautiful white heavy snow. The kids loved it but the trees did not.

Many branches and trees were broken buy the heavy thick snow as most of the leaves had bearly had time to change color let a lone fall off. We were luck to only have one branch break. Some of our neighbors weren't so lucky loosing whole trees.

Maggie played and was late for school, cause you just have to play in the first snow of the season, you just have too.
Max wasn't found of the snow. I think he thought we were crazy to be out in the cold. He cried when we put him on the sled, he wouldn't touch or eat the snow. He just sat and watched as we had fun. I hope he changes his tune about snow.
That night at bed Maggie told me, "Mom this was the Best birthday present EVER!!" Thank you mother nature for the gift!!
