We decided to wait and bless Max back in Colorado. We really wanted Chelly, Max's birthmom, to be there. Mike’s Parents, My mom and sister were able to came which we felt so blessed to have them even just for a few days.
It was hard not having all our family there, but we had our ward family and friends there to support us. It felt right to have him blessed here and do it this way. Mike gave a beautiful blessing even with the distraction of Max who kept grabbing Mike’s nose throughout the prayer. Mike didn't even laugh though he wanted to. Max did give out a little yell but kept it for the most part quiet, thanks to Mike’s nose for entertainment.
It was an exciting day and we were so happy to have Chelly, her parents, her brother and his wife were all able to come and share it with us.
