I can't believe that it is September already. Life with two little ones just seems to be flying by. Max is 11 months. He is moving and shaking so he is into everything. Maggie is starting to find out that it isn't just fun and games having a little brother. He wants to play with whatever she is playing with. I just keep telling her that it is because he thinks she is soo cool.
Max is back to being called Bernard as he is breaking his 7th tooth and is drooling all over the place like a St. Bernard. His hair is turning lighter brown with red highlights and getting some curls in it all of which I love!!! It reminds me a lot of his birthmom Chelly's hair. Now that he is moving more he is slimming down and is going to be a string bean I think. I can't wait to see how big he is next month at this 1 year appointment. I thought we would be in 2T by his birthday but it looks like he is going to be in 12-18mths still. He has mastered the stairs going up but not sure how to go down so he will stand at the top of the stairs and scream bloody murder still someone helps him down.
Speaking of Screaming, he loves to do it and has started the tantrum phase so we hear it even more. We hear his LOUD high pitched mad scream when he doesn't get what he wants or if he can't figure out how to do things. He really likes to be helped to walk all over the place and doesn't like to be put down. He is very much a mommy's boy and will eat almost anything we put in front of him. He loves anything he can feed himself but chocolate icecream seems to be his favorite and so much fun to watch him eat
His vocabulary consists of mama, da, ma (maggie), and a few other vowels. We have started baby sign with him and so far he can do milk but doesn't use it, but he can do all done. When he is done eatting he starts shaking his hands in the air crazily. The cutest thing he is doing though is waving bye. Here is our handsomely cute big 11 month old boy.
