Kelsey Visits

We had a very fun and eventful weekend, Kelsey, Maggie's Birthmom came to visit. She was flying to see her family in Wyoming and had a layover that ended up being two nights due to bad weather and her flight being canceled. We were so excited as we haven't seen her (other than on skype) since her wedding a year ago. Maggie has changed a lot since then. We had fun and after sitting next to Kelsey in the back seat for a few hours Maggie warmed up to her quickly.
We went to a big sporting goods store that has live fish and tons of stuffed (real) animals. It is called The great outdoors. Maggie had fun looking at the fish and then found her favorite new toy - a jeep/ 4 wheeler. Everytime we go to ToysRus we have to play in the toy jeeps. We also went to the Zoo to see the christmas lights. I think Mags was a little confused as we said that we were going to the Zoo but it was dark and we couldn't see the animals We did end up seeing the Giraffs. We had fun even if we only stayed for less than an hour as it was cold and we were all hungery for dinner. The next day we had fun at the park and went to see Santa. Maggie didn't want anything to do with him no matter how hard he tried. Maybe next year Santa. We went to take Kelsey to the airport and where suprised when 10 minutes before her flight was to leave we got a call that it had been canceled due to snow in Montana. SO Maggie and I turned around and went to pick her up. Maggie was very happy to see Kelsey again and thought it was fun to pick her up from the airport again. Kelsey and I left at 3:30 am in a snow storm to get to the airport and we were happy when she got to go. She was excited to see her family. For those of you who don't know Kelsey's husband Joe is in the Navy and is out to sea right now. We were so happy that Kelsey could come and see us so we could help her not be so loney at least for a few days.
