Fun Times with Grandma

After all the fun and too many parties for Christina's graduation, Grandpa Fred had to get back to Utah to take care of the yard, so Grandma Margaret got to stay and hang out with us for the last two weeks and then fly home. The weather didn't cooperate much as it has rained almost everyday this last week and been cooler. So we played and went on car trips to Denver to see Aunt Sherri in the hospital. Maggie loved having grandma here and although she wouldn't let her do things ( "no mommy do it") She was always excited to have grandma still there each morning. The last few mornings She would go down stairs yelling "Grandma, Grandma where are you?" Grandma would play the piano and sing songs with Mags and it was so cute. I only got half of a song before Mags saw me with the video camera and was done as she wanted to see the camera. How did we ever wait till the roll of film was done and developed before we got to see the pictures.

We took grandma to the airport today. Maggie helped pull her small back on wheels to the check in desk and then thought the escalators were so much fun that she had to ride them time and time again. We stopped at the gas station that is right by the airport and you can watch airplanes take off the ground right in front of you. Maggie Loved it! She waved to the airplanes saying " Bye Grandma, I miss you".

It was so much fun to have Grandma Margaret stay. Maggie asked all day where Grandma was. I'm glad she was able to have such a fun time. She can't wait to go see them (and everyone else) in Utah in a few weeks.
