The baby is officially late, so we planned a girls day with Chelly to try and help her go into labor We brought Aunt Carolyn and Christina along we met at the mall in Denver and started walking. We did a lot of window shopping (if only they would have had that $3000 hot pink alligator skin purse!) and had fun at the toy store. After walking we headed over to get Chelly and I a pedicure. (Old wise tails say pedicures can put you into labor)
While we got pedicures, Carolyn and Christina took Maggie to the kid area for some play time.
After a fun time at the Mall we headed over to visit Aunt Sherri who was hanging at the Day Spa (University Hospital) getting treatments (antibiotics/clean out). We picked up some great Chinese food on the way and had a fun little picnic in the hospital lobby. Our little walk around the mall did something as Chelly started tracking her contractions and they were coming 5-7 minutes. We decided to hang for a while and watch to see if they would get stronger and closer. We played cards and laughed. We were talking about the baby and I showed Maggie how the baby was laying in Chelly's tummy. Then we started to get silly and I taught Chelly how to push the baby out using Maggie as the baby. Maggie loved it and wanted to do it over and over and over again. We went over and told the baby to watch and we would show him how to get out. We were all laughing so hard I thought for sure that the baby was going to shoot out of her.

After two hours the contractions were getting longer apart so her doctor told her to go home and take a shower. Reluctantly we said good bye at 11pm and headed home. It was an uneventful weekend but one of the funnest yet.
